Wandering River Tank Foundations
Project Description:
CWP’s scope of work consisted of the construction of two 2 m tall octagonal tank foundations. Each of the 250 m3 foundations were designed to hold evaporator tanks for the Blackrod SAGD facility. This project also included setting cast in place anchor bolts and cold weather concrete curing.

Keyera South Cheecham Sulphur Handling Facility
Project Description:
The scope of work for this project consisted of new concrete construction for the facility. The early concrete works for the facility included two octagon shaped tank foundations, two concrete pit structures, a retaining wall and a building foundation. In total 1,060 m3 of concrete and 200,000 kg of rebar were placed for these structures.

Fox Creek Expansion Project
Project Description:
This project consisted of the construction of two new concrete octagon shaped foundations. These foundations received 110 concrete pedestals consisting of 470 anchor bolt assemblies. In addition to the silo foundations, the contract also consisted of multiple smaller foundations for the new conveyors and truck scales. In total, 900m3 of concrete were poured and cured during the cold winter temperatures.

Cenovus Energy – Sunday Creek Bridge
Project Description:
Rehabilitation of a single span one lane existing bridge and construction of an adjacent single span one lane bridge which acted as main access/egress to the Cenovus Energy plant site at Christina Lake, AB. Traffic management was paramount throughout construction as the existing bridge was the only way in and out of the plant site in case of emergency. Scope of work included piling, backfill and compaction, girder erection, precast deck panel installation, road grading on the new bridge. Rehabilitation of the existing bridge included removal and replacement of timber decking, railing reconstruction, abutment modifications and regrading approaches.
